KEG filling line

Automatic filling system for 11-litre fresh kegs with a capacity of 180 kegs/h. Process sequence: The empty kegs are manually placed on a conveyor belt that leads to a continuous empties weigher (full kegs are separated onto a discharge conveyor). The barrels then pass through an external cleaning machine, are distributed to the two cleaning/filling lines, brought back together, turned in the cross turner and then weighed. At the next station, the barrels are aligned, the integrated CO2 buffer is topped up and capped (fitting and CO2 valve). Finally, the barrels are stacked on pallets by hand (using a lifting aid). The format set used is a flat fitting (fitting type A). The system can also be used to fill larger kegs (up to 50 litres) after minor modifications.
